So I figured I'd post this up here just in case anybody was wondering about coils. I wanted a stock fit instead of the dynacoil upgrade. I found a set on Amazon kinda cheap so I figured I'd give them a go, said they fit my 81 xj750r. Overall the bike is running better coils made a big difference(could be the old ones are 40 years old). They seem to work good for now ill update if they break. Another note they don't line up at all and took some time to mount in a way that I liked. If you want to get them here's the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018...C_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Xj750+coil

I run 82 Honda CB 750 coils ..they can be bought new still @ Cycle Recycle part 2 39.95 ... These have removeable plug wires , and mount in same location ,just have to flip over . The ohm reading is almost the same . these work great on my 82 xj750 seca .. after 1000 miles .

Made a a mount for the back bolt coil as it is about a half inch too short. I didn't ohm them out. They seem to run ok will tear it apart and mount better and test during the winter want to get in as much riding as I can before it gets to cold.
