Trying to rewire and install new flashers for front/back.
    Photos attached.
Bought shit lights just to learn and plan. Hope to upgrade to higher end shit after a time. No LEDs.

keep wiring in these units to existing wires and no success.

when i test the lights to the battery direct; they shine.

when I test the volt meter on the lines, 9v+ reads on the meter.

when I wore up everything; nada.

would a shitty turn signal control reduce the voltage down to 9v? Or what would cause low voltage?

thoughts? Literally have zero idea what I’m doing, but this (when it was initially laid out for me) didn’t seem that hard.

It looks like you used flat pliers on those crimp connectors.
I've become really fond of the newfangled solder-inside heat shrink splicing connectors.

Do you still have the OE turn signals?
What happens when you plug them back in?
Have you pulled the flasher relay and cleaned the connectors there?

Previous owner hacked everything off of it. The Turn Signals that were in place when I bought it were LEDs that didn't function, but when pulled off the bike wiring and independently touched to the battery, they did work.

I bought shit chinese turn signals in order to learn then was going to buy something more substantial. I've wired everything in a number of different ways and they don't work.

I do not know anything about the location and items on this bike, my mechanical friend got the ENGINE and FUEL and BRAKING and TRANSMISSION systems up to speed, it runs and rides great.

He had no knowledge of Yamaha's wiring.

So when you ask about the flasher relay, I have NOT. I will definitely try that, but I don't know where it is on the bike.

    Any tips?

I’ve replaced the flasher relay and nothing has changed!

now trying to trace the electric fro there to the rear. But have

    1) no knowledge as to what the potential issues are

    2) where to start if I did.

been trying to clean and replace older connections as I go, so far no luck.

    Hi, there.
Do you find that issue ? Now I am this problem also.
Probably on this week I will go with wiring, check the fuse. And connectors.
    Relay was good (120 ohm).
    Thank you.
