I need some help doing a running sync.

I've read multiple threads watch multiple videos of how to do this. But i still can't get this right.

    Carb 2 & 3 are synced.
But when I try 1 &2. Or 3& 4. There's such a huge different in the vacuum I've tried turning the sync screw and it doesn't change the vacuum in the bottles. Just changes the sound of the bike. Carb 1 is a lot stronger than carb 2. And same with carb 4 a lot stronger than 3

I'm struggling a lot with this any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks timmy

did you use glass jars and seal all the tubes and covers?
your fluid is changing levels on 1,2 set and 3,4 set?

when you sync 2 and 3 you are syncing 1&2 to 3&4 as sets that is why they are done last

have you done a compression test? what were your numbers?
church of clean on the carbs?
have you color tuned the mixture screws?
syncing is tuning the carbs to the weakest cylinder.

Ar you turning the little slotted screws that in your photo? Those are the idle mixture screws, not the throttle plate synch crews.
Is that carb boot bolt still snapped, or is that an old photo?

I know this is an old post, but I figure it's the best place for my question. I am trying to (against my better judgement) rebuild and sync my carbs. (see , me and carbs have NEVER seen eye to eye :p) Is there a general setting to set the idle mixture screws at initially when firing up the bike to do a running sync??

    Try 2.5 - 3 turns initially.
