    Also: Do you see all the phillips head screws on the machine?
    They are not phillips!!
    Do yourself a favor and buy a JIS #2 screwdriver so you don't strip the heads out.

    Go to your profile and add the year and model of XJ you own to your signature.
    If you have multiple XJs PLEASE mention which one you are asking for help with; either in the post, or the thread title. They are not all the same, and advice for one model (or submodel) may not be accurate for your bike.
